Application

– The surface to be treated must be dry. Conditions and thickness of the plaster layer affect the drying and hardening time, so make sure it has at least 28 days of curing time, depending on temperature.
– The substrate has to be well prepared and suitable for coating: dry plaster, not any granules from plaster.
In case of old walls make sure there is no poor or dusty paint: remove them if necessary as well as flaking paint.
– Apply 1 coat of PRIMER insulation if necessary.
– Apply with a brush or roller, one or two coats of PRIMER which has to be thinned up to 5-10 % with water.
– After a time (from 6 to 12 hours later), take one or more Tessuto bases. Once each individual package has been opened, mix the contents carefully.
– After checking the form to get the desire colour, pour the content of one or more bases into a single pack, adding 5-10% of water and mix carefully the obtained compound.
– Proceed applying the first coat of the product thus obtained with soft brush. It is advisable to perform vertical movements.
– Sand, where necessary (for the removal of any extra lumps), using sandpaper grit size greater than 120.
– Wait for the total and perfect drying (from 6 to 12 hours), then proceed to the second coat of Tessuto (without dilution), following the movements with the soft brush in the horizontal direction.
– The product can also be applied to the substrate using the spraying technique. In this case it is advisable to use a gun with the nozzle diametre of ø2.5.
