Product Description
SOFIA is the decoration in the name of beauty, elegance and refinement. Bright velvet effect with opalescent reflections and a soft touch accompained by a silk sensation.
The very delicate, decorative and simple final effect make this paint ideal for the decoration of large surfaces, not limited to niches or single walls.
Due to its properties, SOFIA can be applied in multiple effects, as illustrated in the color chart.
SOFIA is presented in 2 bases:
SOFIA CH for light and medium colors.

For the interior the product can be applied to any type of wall surface and/or other supports properly prepared.
The high breathability allows it to be used even in the presence of humidity. In addition, thanks to its features, it can also be used in highly frequented places such as public walls.

Application
-The surface to be treated must be dry. Conditions and thickness of the plaster layer affect the drying and hardening time, so make sure it has at least 28 days of curing time, depending on temperature.
– The substrate has to be well prepared and suitable for coating: dry plaster, not any granules from plaster. In case of old walls make sure there is no poor or dusty paint: remove them if necessary as well as flaking paint.
– Apply 1 coat of PRIMER insulation if necessary.
– Choose the desired color from SOFIA color chart.
– Proceed applying with a brush or roller, one or two coats of colored PRIMER which has to be thinned up to 5-10 % with water. Allow to dry perfectly.
>>>> Note: PRIMER can be ordered already colored, or it can be colored using either the tintometric system
– Proceed with the application of SOFIA presented in 3 different effects:
SOFIA NUVOLATO:
– Apply with short-haired roller, a coat of the desired SOFIA color, leaving about 2 mm thickness.
– Immediately after, since the applied product is still fresh, smooth the coating with circular movements, using the special tool, stainless steel or PVC trowel.
– Allow to dry to appreciate the effect.
SOFIA WOOD:
– Apply with short-haired roller, a coat of the desired SOFIA color, leaving about 2 mm thickness.
– Immediately after, since the applied product is still fresh, create the wood effect, with the EFFETTO LEGNO tool.
– Allow to dry to appreciate its effect.
SOFIA TEXTURE:
– Apply with short-haired roller, a coat of the desired SOFIA color, leaving about 2 mm thickness.
– Immediately after, since the applied product is still fresh, roll the surface with RULLO TEXTURE, in order to recreate the typical effect of the decorating roller.
